Latest government guidance states that open air cinema events can take operate as long as social distancing measures are in place. Booking groups must be kept to no more than six persons and from no more than two households.

Social Distancing

Southwold Open Air Cinema will be 100% compliant with the governments requirements on social distancing to ensure the safety of every guest who attends our events

Each ticket group will have their own circular pitch which will be generously spaced to ensure social distancing and that ease of movement around the venue can take place appropriately.

Tickets can be bought up to a maximum of six per household and each pitch can accommodate six persons comfortably.

Tickets will be scanned upon entry by our team at a safe distance, and you will then be guided to the pitches. Please try to print your tickets out as this helps us to scan them more easily whilst social distancing. A queuing system will be in place upon entry and exit.

You can bring your own seating, however you must keep yourself and your belongings inside of your pre-allocated pitch borders at all time to ensure everyone adheres to social distancing.

The toilets are individual portaloos and will be set at a 2m distance between each. They will be monitored by a team who will ensure they are cleaned and sanitised regularly, and all will have hand sanitiser available as well.

All hospitality offerings will be spaced around the venue and a queuing system will be in place to ensure social distancing.
